Last week, Magic: The Gathering announced a new Secret Lair collab with the famous virtual pop star Hatsune Miku in what will amount to a year-long print schedule with four Secret Lair drops, each releasing seasonally throughout 2024.

We’ve already had a sneak peek at the first six-card set, Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar, and honestly, every card is worth hunting for (via Polygon). My personal favourite is a toss-up between Miku, the Renowned by Yuko Shimizu, and Harmonize by Syutsuri, but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at any of the other four cards on offer.

In true Miku fashion, plenty of other artists are chiming in and creating their own illustrations for this upcoming set. This includes designs from Justyna Dura, Jehan Choo, Mandy Jurgens, and Dani Pendergast.

I’ve always enjoyed collecting TCGs, starting off with Pokemon EX Delta Species and the Yu-Gi-Oh Gold Series when I was younger. While I’ve tried to keep my collections up to date, I promised myself that I wouldn’t invest in any other TCGs just to save my bank account from further ruin. But it looks like I’m going to have to break my rule for this upcoming Miku set.

If, li…

There’s a bit of a feud going on at the moment between PC players who don’t want to sign into PSN accounts on top of their Steam accounts and Sony, a megacorporation that almost certainly will not budge on the issue. The latest move to get rid of PSN was from a modder who tried to make it possible to circumvent the sign-in progress in God of War: Ragnarök’s PC port, but the workaround has now been taken offline.

“We’ve noticed that the popular PSN-bypass mod for God of War: Ragnarök has been removed from our site by the author, and so we’ve reached out to find out why,” Nexus Mods said in a tweet on Thursday. In a reply, Nexus Mods later confirmed that the modder, known as iArtoriasUA, decided to remove the mod as it got too much traction, and they didn’t want to get into hot water with Sony.

“That was my personal decision because the mod has got too much attention (even IGN and PC Gamer) wrote an article about it,” iArtoriasUA told Nexus Mods. “Thus, I thought that it would be better to remove it from the public to avoid any potential threats from the Sony side (even though the project never modified anything in memory related to Sony products, but bette…

We’re still in the early phases of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, so that means there’s still some uncharted territory for players to explore and uncover, and the latest discovery is an easter egg points hack in Zombies.

“Basketball easter egg found,” one player who goes by SmartGuy316 says. “Make the ball in the hoop for a free 2,000 points (The Ball is sitting in the corner above the gas canister on the WW quest door on the roof). Definitely need to find a good setup of this for speedruns.” I’m not sure how many attempts SmartGuy316 had before finally scoring the points, but regardless of the number of attempts, it’s still an impressive shot.

Getting 2,000 points in Zombies is nothing to sniff at. Some players have pointed out how strangely difficult it is to get enough points the usual way. “To start off, the number one issue that Zombies YouTubers had pointed out after playing BO6 Zombies was that the point scaling was off, and it felt like they consistently never had enough points,” one player says.

“In BO6, we have ammo mods, gobblegums, pack a punch, tactical, lethal, and support equipment, weapon rarities, etc. In theory, more options equals more variety …
